Prelude II: Tsock Seff & Koth Atreides
Current Date: 21 September 3989 C.R.C. After a rough patch in finding work, the independent contractors’ famine had ended. They’d received a job from a mysterious source; and the pay was high. Normally, the rodian and human pair would’ve been skeptical of its validity, but after they’d expressed their concerns about handling the fuel to get to their first location, a third of the compensation was wired to Koth’s account—enough to handle the price of fuel. They knew their benefactor resided on Siskeen (A), a system close to Tsock’s own though the rodian had never visited it. This was significant because Tsock and Koth were halfway across the galaxy on Lorta (B) when they received the communication. The job had them heading to Cerea (C). Tensions between Sullust and Eriadu were presently high; Tsock and Koth were tasked with hijacking a message inbound to a relay station on Cerea before it was passed on to Endor. That message needed to state that Sullust had successfully invaded Eriadu and conflict was ensuing. The relay station was on a mountain overlooking the city of Crencerr.
