The stolen starship came out of hyperspace, appearing suddenly in a small field of asteroids. The planet Batuu was visible—about marble-sized—in the distance. It was soundless and uneventful, as the space beyond atmosphere’s and space stations are prone to be. The noiseless drifting of the chunks of spacerock were the only feeling of anything. If, well… If Claw and Hera could feel anything with that terrible music echoing throughout the cabin. The awful noise grew louder as their companion approached the cockpit.
Prelude End: Hera and K’rla
Fleeing to Batuu didn’t work out. Hera, K’rla, and Hacholi were attacked and defeated by pirates following their third and final smuggling job moments before safely reaching their destination. Durosht the space pirate captain, captured the group and sold them to Her Ladyship Ayleycho. While K’rla and Hera had the privilege of life as servant-slaves, they believed Hacholi to have been sent to the mines, where the slaves appeared to be viewed as expendable property rather than pets. K’rla and Hera became the personal servants to Ayleycho and Xakudj respectively. Hera discovered an unnamed jedi trapped in carbonite in a gallery within the Floating Palace.
