Character Sheet

For my future reference, the plan is to go to Mikel-Embyre-Character-Sheet-Level-1.excalidraw, edit it, take new screenshots, and replace them here.

This section contains links to the items on the character sheet that have more detail than I can remember, like rules, magical arts, foci, spells, etc. Visit Advancement for leveling milestones.

Description

Mikel is a rugged, weathered man in his mid-30s, standing at about 5’10” with a lean, wiry build honed by endless treks through ruined wastelands and brutal skirmishes.

He’s enduringly tough, carries himself with a graceful, predatory agility, moving like a desert wind despite the weight of his pieced armor – a mismatched patchwork of scavenged metal plates and reinforced leather, scarred from use.

A large shield, etched with faded runes of flame and storm, is slung across his back, while a shortsword and dagger hang at his belt, their hilts wrapped in prayer beads.

Wisdom shines in his sharp, hazel eyes, framed by a sharp face obscured by an unkempt beard streaked with premature gray from magical backlash.

Scars crisscross his sun-baked skin, and his movements carry a deliberate, almost meditative poise – he’s no scholar of ancient lore. He tends to rely on gut instinct and divine whispers rather than complex strategies.

Goals

As a priest of the Fractured Flame, a small cult revering elemental forces as fragments of a divine whole, Mikel aims to establish a modest shrine in a nearby trade town, a place where wanderers and locals can offer prayers to calm the region’s frequent dust storms and quakes. He seeks to gather enough offerings – scavenged tech, coin, or rare elemental relics – to fund the shrine’s construction and earn the respect of his scattered order. Some locals are skeptical and he’ll have to figure out how to deal with the tension provided by pragmatic merchants or rival faiths.

Background

TBD. Partly defined above via his goals.

Mikel Embyre – a name adopted during his initiation into the priesthood, evoking the glowing embers of elemental power and his devotion to the Fractured Flame. His original name, a simple one from his village roots, has been cast aside, unneeded in his new life.
